Oli Barrett started his first business as a student, and grew it (while still studying) to 150 people in 9 cities. His passion is to connect people with ideas to make them both grow –  starting useful schemes and organisations, and working with brilliant people to fulfil their potential.

A few examples include Tenner (the UK’s largest enterprise competition, run by Young Enterprise), StartUp Britain (launched by the Prime Minister, run by the Centre for Entrepreneurs), WebMission (to the US and India, run with the Long Run Venture) and Volunteer It Yourself (the award-winning project, helping young people fix their own youth clubs, run with a range of partners, including Wickes).

Oli has been described by Wired magazine as one of the “most connected people in Britain” and is passionate about encouraging people to make useful connections.
